Dosing Guidance 

THC is psychoactive and side effects are dose dependent. Start on the lowest dose and titrate up every few days until symptoms are managed. In the case of side effects, reduce to previous, most tolerated dose. It is recommended that patients increase their dose at bedtime to help promote tolerance to the increase in THC. 

CBD may help mitigate the side effects of THC through negative allosteric modulation at CB1 receptors, reducing the agonistic activity of THC. When prescribing THC-rich products, dual therapy with a CBD oil like Phytoca CBD150 may be appropriate.

Cannabinoids are lipophilic. Oral cannabis products are best absorbed after a high-fat meal. To ensure consistent effects, patients should take their medication at the same time each day, either before, during, or after a meal.
